How Is A Puppy Shipped BY Clive Bernese Mountain Dog Puppies?

If you have expressed interest in any of the puppies featured on our website but reside too far away to personally collect the puppy, we are pleased to inform you that we can arrange for the delivery of your chosen puppy on the next available day or even the same day. The puppy will be transported to the airport nearest to your location or directly delivered to your residence. The cost of delivery varies depending on the county, region, or country. Typically, within the United States, the puppy will arrive within a timeframe of 4-8 hours, while international delivery will take a maximum of 24 hours from the time of departure. However, it is important to note that occasional delays may occur due to weather conditions or necessary puppy checks. Therefore, we recommend verifying the flight status with the airline before leaving your home to proceed to the airport. Bernese Loving Paws

General Airline Requirements

The puppy must have reached a minimum age of 8 weeks and 4 days. Additionally, it is required to be accompanied by a veterinarian Health/Acclimation Certificate. Certain airlines impose temperature restrictions and will verify the temperature forecasts for both the destination and arrival flights.

Cost Of Shipping Via Airline

The Veterinarian Health/Acclimation Certificate carries an approximate cost. The cost of the travel kennel is dependent on the size of the crate. The airfreight charges are determined by the weight of the puppy and the weight/size of the crate. It is important to note that larger, heavier, and older puppies may incur higher costs. For international customers, kindly contact us for a quote. If you decide to have a puppy shipped to you, we require the following information: your full name, which must match your I.D. that you will present at the airport cargo desk during pickup; the full name of an alternate person who also has I.D. to act as a backup for pickup in case of an emergency; your physical address, which cannot be a post office box; phone numbers where you can easily be reached, preferably at least two numbers; the name of the county where you reside; the name of the airport where you prefer your puppy to arrive, as well as an optional airport; and the specific puppy you are interested in.

Safe And Comfortable Shipping Process At Bernese Loving Paws

Bernese Mountain Dog Puppies are not objects akin to vases or art supplies. Therefore, upon hearing that they can be shipped to you, your initial reaction may be one of shock. However, before succumbing to panic, it is important to dispel any preconceived notions of cardboard boxes and foam peanuts. Shipping puppies is typically a safe process, and airlines and trucking companies that transport live animals have established protocols in place to ensure their safe arrival in good health.

Airlines have the option of shipping puppies in the cargo compartment, which may seem callous and intimidating, but is actually a comfortable and secure mode of transportation for the puppy, particularly if there are no layovers or cargo transfers. Alternatively, pets may be stowed under the passenger’s seat as carry-on luggage. Although this is the safest mode of air travel, it may be more expensive and is not our primary method of transportation, as we incur an additional fee for the pet. We also offer the option of shipping by land, utilizing a specialized trucking company that transports pets. These trucks follow a carefully planned route, covering as much as half of the country in one long road trip, dropping off and picking up dogs along the way.

To prevent the risk of infection from other dogs or pets, we administer a Bordetella vaccine to all our puppies prior to shipping.
